Music Midtown 2019
The Challenge
Production time, logistics and brand management. The size of this two-day festival requires new signage each year, delivered within a short window. Blending new signage with existing, while the overall brand changes each year.
The Solution
By using a similar color palette each year it allows LCS to use updated graphics and fonts in a way that does not alienate previous signage. This allows the look to stay fresh while maintaining familiarity from year to year.
By working closely with Live Nation’s teams LCS is able to determine when certain pieces are needed and then works backward from those delivery dates to schedule design, approvals and production.
I have worked with Shawn and Loud Crowd Studios for several years. He has become an integral part of the representation of the Music Midtown Festival (150,000 fan attendee festival in Atlanta) in all avenues of public facing branding. Each year the festival and their sponsor’s require updated digital and on site representation from directional and wayfinding pieces to food, beverage and stage banners. Shawn gives us timely estimates, accurate forecast numbers, and is able to design and produce the pieces needed each year sometimes under some hard deadlines. We all appreciate that he provides solutions that are deliverable without over-promising results.
